Values related of the targets and obligations of the ERICA

The ERICA presents some values and some proceeding ways directly obtain from their obligations and their goals. These values are more related to how accomplish their targets and the different strategies that the Institute are going to follow for. These values are the following:

• All decisions making by the institute will follow the maxim of becoming a center of national reference and international excellence in R+D+I in Engineering.
• The ERICA will provide technical advice within the scope of its competencies. It will also carry out teaching activities related to specialized teaching. That is all in order to improve the technological environment.
• To promote the scientific, technical and artistic activity of its members and of the University Community as a whole.
• To contract and execute scientific, technical or artistic works with individuals, public or private entities within the framework of current legislation.
• To collaborate with the other University bodies in the accomplishment of their duties.
• The institute will be able to self-finance from the revenue of 30% of the indirect costs of research projects and contracts obtained by the seconded researchers. In addition to these revenues, it is expected to obtain additional income related to the enrollment of the specialization courses to be offered and the provision of analysis an advisory services of the institute.
