Currently, the research group activity comprises the following areas:
- Analysis of workers’ labour conditions in its different occupational perspectives (risk and accident prevention, health and safety, and ergonomy).
- Risk analysis of facilities and their adequacy to health and safety regulations and standards.
- Design and analysis of equipment and work tools, including Personal Protective and Safety Equipment (PPE).
- Design of safety protocols, technical procedures, and good working habits.
- Measurement and analysis of working conditions using TICs.
- Accident prevention research.
- Emergency and evacuation plans modelling and inspection.
- Capital budgeting and Financial appraisal (feasibility analysis) of projects oriented towards improving the working conditions.
- Prevention-related applied research patent development and register.
- Project Management tools and models development and/or implementation.
