ADVANCED MANUFACTURING PROCESSES AND SYSTEMS.

This line of research studies how to improve the actual manufacturing processes on industry, the creation of new fabrication processes and the optimization of the manufacturing and production systems through experimentation, numeric simulation as well as theoretical modeling of such processes.

INTELLIGENCE SYSTEMS, ROBOTICS AND ADVANCE ELECTRONICS

This multidisciplinary line is on to creation and implementation, at industrial environments, of systems that adapt autonomously to changing situations produced on 4.0 industries work environment. It studies design and control of intelligent machines, from the specific electronic circuits design to the robots construction who use artificial intelligence to improve their own capacities and their autonomous in the complex industries scenarios mentioned.

On this research line, the professors and investigation groups belonging to ERICA focus their research on diversely branches of software engineering, performing a direct app on the industrial environment for the digitalization of their manufacturing processes.
