This line of research studies how to improve the actual manufacturing processes on industry, the creation of new fabrication processes and the optimization of the manufacturing and production systems through experimentation, numeric simulation as well as theoretical modeling of such processes.

Specifically within this line of work the following aspect are included:

• Analysis and evaluation of the additive manufacturing processes performance of the forming and the processing materials. It has special interest in those ones that are of strategic use in the aerospace and naval industries.
• Study of analysis methods for industrial quality as well as the study of the industrial meteorology.
• Analysis of intelligent production systems.
• Analysis of complex systems of industrial production.

Groups involved
